Santa Cruz International School is an English medium Primary and Secondary school located in the city of Santa Cruz De La Sierra in the eastern lowlands of Bolivia. It was founded in 1992 with the intention of providing an English medium education of an internationally recognized standard to residents of the city. The concept of an international school is relatively new in Latin America. Many cities in the region have their German, American, British or French schools. SCIS uses an international curriculum leading towards examinations at secondary level specifically designed for schools throughout the world by an organization known as Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). These examinations are used in over 70 countries worldwide. Students who complete our program successfully also receive a Bolivian High School Diploma (Bachilerato Boliviano). more...
