The School is fully co-educational, educating boys and girls from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade. According to the Bolivian educational system, the normal/regular system is divided into 3 levels:
- Pre-school (Educacion Inicial en Familia Comunitaria) for those students Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten.

- Secondary/High School (Educacion Secundaria Comunitaria Productiva) for students from 1st Secondary to 6th Secondary.
Our students are engaged in demanding programmes that build upon their prior knowledge and skills; promote and develop learning independence; and emphasize clearly articulated values and attitudes. We provide our students with a learning environment in which we set clear objectives, hold high expectations and provide exemplary role models. SCIS Griffins are taught and expected to be aware of how they learn; to engage in self-reflection; enjoy the freedom to ask questions and provide suggestions about their learning, and the confidence to take risks.
We aspire for our students to stimulate their intelligence, to be innovative and to develop a global outlook; to be confident, creative and compassionate young leaders of the future. Our school respects and nurtures all students as individuals, looking to inspire and support their efforts in realizing intellectual, spiritual, cultural, social and physical aspirations.
SCIS aims to be the most dynamic and distinctive learning centre in Santa Cruz and Bolivia, building on the dedication and professional expertise of its entire staff, the commitment of the educational community and relying on its own resources.
