THE SCIS EARLY YEARS CURRICULUM

EARLY YEARS LEARNING AT SCIS
At Santa Cruz International School, we recognize the value of a thoughtfully designed early childhood program. Our Early Years curriculum emphasizes the importance of play in building a strong foundation for literacy and numeracy development. We believe every child is naturally curious and eager to learn, striving to understand the world around them. Collaboration between children, teachers, and caregivers is at the heart of our approach, with open communication and caregiver involvement enriching the learning environment.

Our classrooms are bright and inviting, designed to inspire a love for learning. Equipped with age-appropriate furniture, diverse learning centers, and educational resources, they support our inquiry-based curriculum. These nurturing spaces encourage creativity, collaboration, and independent exploration, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

DINNING HALL
Children enjoy nutritious meals. Designed with bright colors and child-friendly furniture, it provides a comfortable environment for social interaction and learning proper table manners. The dining hall fosters a sense of community and encourages healthy eating habits from an early age.
